FAQS
Your Questions Answered.
HOW LONG DOES BOTOX/DYSPORT LAST?
Typically a person needs to be retreated every 3 - 4 months with Botox or Dysport.
Daxxify has a longer indication (double the duration of what Botox would work for you), typically about 5-6 months.
The procedure itself is quick! People come in during their lunch break and are in and out within 30 minutes!
HOW LONG DO FILLERS LAST?
Fillers can last anywhere from 9 to 18 months depending on a person's metabolism, the type of product used, and area it is used in. Age, gender, and lifestyle can play a huge role in metabolism of product as well.
DOES IT HURT?
Neurotoxin administration is with a very very tiny needle, so most find it very tolerable. With dermal fillers there are different modalities to treat depending on the area and some areas are more sensitive then others. A medical grade topical anesthetic is applied prior to treatment which for most, makes it very comfortable. Pain is very subjective, so everyone will have different tolerances for it.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS
Bruising and swelling can happen with any injectable. It is the body's natural response to any type of "trauma" and disturbance of the tissue. Swelling can last a few days and bruising may not come up right away after, so that can take a few days to a week or so to resolve (this will depend on your body, as each individual heals differently).
